The crew at DLM Remodeling recently renovated this screen room and transformed it into a 4 Seasons room that can be used year-round! These homeowners reached out to us looking for a way to transform the space and utilize it for more than just warm summer nights. They reached out to us looking for ways to update the room, and our team was happy to discuss the project with them and work on a renovation! Keep reading below to learn more about the project!
After visiting the property and discussing the goals for the project with the homeowners, our team ordered 8 new double-hung Harvey Windows & a Harvey Entry Door, and our team got to work on replacing the screens with new windows!
The first thing we had to do was remove the existing screens from the porch. Since they went all the way to the floor of the room, once we had removed the units, we needed to add a bit of siding to the base of the room. Once we had removed the screens and installed the necessary siding, our team got to work on installing the replacement window units.
The new Harvey Double-Hungs look fantastic, and they made the space far more temperate, making it hospitable even during the colder Massachusett’s winter & falls!
Additionally, we finished off the project with a new Harvey entry door, completing the renovation and bringing the space together! The homeowners were very happy with the finished project, and they look forward to enjoying this new room year-round!
