Our team at DLM Remodeling recently replaced the windows in this Brookline, MA apartment. The building owner reached out to our team in need of new windows, as the old ones were beginning to leak and peel, detracting from the apartment’s energy efficiency, and curb appeal. We discussed all of our available window options with the building owner, and they decided on installing a number of new Harvey Classic Vinyl Double-Hung windows with grids on the top sashes. After our team met with the homeowners and agreed on the windows that we installed on the home, we put an order in for their new windows. After they arrived at the shop a few weeks later, we got to work on replacing the windows of the building.
The first thing we had to do was remove the old windows. The building’s old windows were failing and needed to be replaced in order to keep the building properly protected. After we had removed the old windows, we examined all of the home’s window sills and made repairs to all of the rotted window frames. After the sills had been repaired, our team began installing the new Harvey Double-Hung windows.
The new windows and finished project look fantastic, and the building will be well-protected for decades to come with the help of Harvey windows.
